The Japanese government abolished “Health Insurance Card system”, and started “Myna Insurance Card system” as a general rule on December 2, 2024. Please use the Myna Insurance Card(My Number Card as a health insurance card) when you visit hospitals and pharmacies.

“Health Insurance Card (Pink plastic card which was issued by December 1,2024)“ and “Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (A4 paper)” will be valid until December 1, 2025.
