In the ongoing 【FY2024】 Walking Campaign, we have encountered an issue where some users of Android devices are experiencing step synchronization errors when syncing their steps via the "Kenko Techo" app.
As a result, these users are unable to register their steps correctly.
Therefore, for users who could not register their steps during the affected period due to synchronization errors,
we will grant achievement points if they have met their target step counts.
We are currently working to resolve this issue by the end of August. We will provide further information when the issue is resolved.
【Eligibility】
Users of Android devices who have experienced step synchronization errors with the "Kenko Techo" app, resulting in the inability to register their steps correctly.
【Affected Period】
From Saturday, June 1, 2024, to Saturday, August 31, 2024
【Manual Step Entry Deadline】
By Tuesday, September 10, 2024
Please note that entries submitted after this period will not be eligible for points.
【Point Award Date】
If you register your steps by Saturday, August 10, 2024: Tuesday, August 20, 2024
If you register your steps by Tuesday, September 10, 2024: Friday, September 20, 2024
【Manual Step Entry Procedure】
Click the "Acquire data" button on the My Data page.
A popup for manual step entry will appear. Enter the steps in the input boxes for each date and click the "Record" button.
To enter steps for the previous week, click the "Back" button and input the steps.
To correct previously entered steps, re-enter the steps in the input boxes for each date.
Once registration is complete, the steps will be updated on the My Data screen. If the data does not update, click the refresh button next to the cumulative steps.
【Notes for Manual Entry】
If there appears to be any errors or fraudulent entries in the step data, we will contact you for verification. Please note that if the data is determined to be fraudulent, you may be excluded from receiving incentives.
Please note that the manual entry function is a remedial measure for users of some Android devices who cannot register their steps correctly due to synchronization errors. Users who are not experiencing this issue are not eligible for this measure.
