The schedule for the year-end and New Year holidays of the Health Insurance Society is as posted on the Health Insurance HP News.
The Society expect an increase in the number of applications during the year-end and New Year holidays, so if you need certificates, please apply as soon as possible.
<Certificate of Application of Health Insurance Limit Amount>
Those who complete the application by 15:00 on December 28 (Wednesday) will be issued and sent within the year.
Those after that date will be issued and sent sequentially after January 5,2023(Thursday).
*If you apply in December, the Society can set an expiration date up to February 28, 2023 (Tuesday).
<Certificate of Loss of Qualification>
We’re sorry, but the electronic application service is only available in Japanese.
Those who complete the application by 15:00 on December 28 (Wednesday) will be issued and sent within the year.
Those after that date will be issued and sent sequentially after January 5,2023(Thursday).
※Certificate of loss of eligibility will be issued after notification of loss of eligibility is received from the employer to the Health Insurance Society.
For those who are planning to retire at the end of the year, due to the year-end and New Year holidays, it will be issued and sent two to three weeks after the retirement date.
※Electronic application is a function that can only be used while employed.
After the day following your retirement date, please download and fill out the application for certification from the Health Insurance Society website, and mail it to the Accenture Health Insurance Section at the Health Insurance Administration Center.
